Bank SNORAS was established in 1992 as Šiauliai Regional Bank and was renamed into AB Bank SNORAS in 1993.
In seventeen years of operations SNORAS has become one of the largest banks in Lithuania. The bank manages the most modern and expansive customer service network in the country, including 10 regional branches, 11 branch outlets, 230 outlets and 340 ATMs. AB Bank SNORAS successfully entrenches in the leading position of retail banking market in Lithuania and steadily expands towards EU countries.

AB Bank SNORAS owns the control stock of AS „Latvijas Krajbanka" - the oldest Latvian bank that has the largest network.
AB Bank SNORAS manages seven subsidiaries in the state: JSC "SNORO Lizingas", JSC "SNORO Turto Valdymas", JSC "SNORO Investicijų Valdymas", JSC "SNORO Fondų Valdymas", JSC "SNORO Valda", JSC "SNORO Media Investicijos" and JSC "Vilniaus Kapitalo Vystymo Projektai", providing Lithuanian and Baltic market participants with real estate management, constructions and renovation, money, leasing and securities funds management services.
