Bank SNORAS, established in 1992 as the regional bank in Šiauliai city, was renamed to AB Bank SNORAS in 1993.
Within eighteen years of its activity SNORAS became one of the largest banks in Lithuania. Having the most expansive and state-of-the-art territorial customer service network in the country – 10 regional branches of the bank, 13 branch outlets, 230 territorial units and 339 ATMs – AB Bank SNORAS successfully consolidates its positions in the Lithuanian retail banking market and expands its activity in the European Union member states.

Presently the bank manages the branches in Estonia and Latvia as well as representative offices in the Kingdom of Belgium, in Czech Republic, Ukraine, Belarus and the United Kingdom.
In the Baltic States, Bank SNORAS manages two other banks: AS „Latvijas Krajbanka" - the oldest bank having the largest network in Latvia and the investment bank “Finasta” in Lithuania.
Bank SNORAS manages seven subsidiary companies in the country: AB „Finasta Holding“, UAB „SNORO lizingas", UAB „SNORAS Investment Management", UAB „SNORO valda“, UAB „SNORAS Media“ and UAB „SNORAS Development", which provide Lithuanian and Baltic market participants with leasing, monetary funds and securities funds management services, real estate management, building administration and technical supervision, construction and renovation services.
AB Bank SNORAS is the fourth bank in Lithuania according to the size of the capital and the fifth – according to the managed assets. Over 1 million clients use the services of the bank.
