Bankas SNORAS sets a reward for those who will assist in identifying the criminal intrusions into the savings units
Bankas SNORAS, after having experienced intrusions into the savings units in Marijampolė on February 25 this year, in Garliava on April 1 and in Raudondvaris on April 10, sets a 10 thousand Litas reward which will be granted to the persons or the law enforcement officers for contributing in identification and detention of participants in these crimes.
"After setting this reward, we want to encourage the support of socially active citizens while assisting in investigation of these criminal offences. Although Bankas SNORAS did not incur any direct financial losses because they are compensated by insurance companies, we are interested to make sure that the bank's clients would not experience any inconveniences and the bank's image would not suffer due to such incidents," Romasis Vaitekūnas, the director of Bankas SNORAS Security and Prevention Division, states.
During the last inbreak into Bankas SNORAS savings unit in Raudondvaris, in Instituto street, on April 9 this year, the security devices installed in the bank prevented the criminals from carrying out their schemes.
According to R. Vaitekūnas, Bankas SNORAS trying to protect its clients, the bank's employees and assets uses various security means, closely cooperates with the law enforcement institutions and insures the bank's property.
"We want to assure all clients of Bankas SNORAS that their funds entrusted to the bank have not been affected and we also desire to invite Lithuanian residents to show civil initiative in investigating this sort of crimes," R. Vaitekūnas maintains.
Bankas SNORAS invites the people, who can assist in identifying the criminal offences in Marijampolė and Kaunas districts, to address to the police commissariats in these districts.
