Payment Card Insurance - it is a special service designed to protect the fund and compensate for losses in insurance event, applicable to residents of the Republic of Lithuania. This service includes insurance of the funds on payment cards both in Lithuania and abroad as well as travel insurance that covers losses in case of an accident or inconveniences while traveling.

Payment Card Funds Insurance in Lithuania or Abroad:

• Unauthorized use of payment card insurance shall cover the expenses due to unauthorized use of lost, stolen or duplicated payment card by a third party in 48 hours before block.
• Cash steal insurance shall cover an amount withdrawn by you in ATM and stolen in 12 hours upon withdrawal. 
• Purchase damage insurance shall cover the loss related to inadvertent damage of purchases in 30 days.
• The lowest price insurance shall cover the price difference, provided you've paid for a new purchase by your card and found the same goods at the lower price elsewhere within 15 days, subject to submission of supporting documents such as the lowest price commercial, promotional advertisement or other informational document (including information in the Internet).

Payment Card Travel Insurance is Valid During the Trip:

• Medical expenses insurance shall cover the expenses in a medical institution.
• Accident insurance shall cover the expenses due to an accident during the trip.
• Personal civil liability insurance shall cover the expenses due to inadvertent cardholder’s infliction of harm to health/life and/or property of a third party abroad.
• Flight delay insurance shall cover the expenses due to public air transport delays while traveling from/to the Republic of Lithuania provided the ticket was purchased at least 48 hours in advance.
• Luggage delay insurance will cover the expenses related to the delay of luggage for more than 12 hours from the scheduled delivery.

Payment Card Fund and Travel Insurance Maximum Amounts
Valid from October 1, 2006

* Insurance shall also cover documentary proved costs of new wallet, new payment card acquisition, as well as recovery of personal documents lost in relation to payment card steal (LTL up to 300).
