Who is the program for?
LAIPTAI (STEPS) is for private clients – holders of chip or magnetic stripe cards of SNORAS residing in Lithuania or abroad and having an LTL, EURO or USD accounts at SNORAS.
The higher the balance, the higher the interest
Fixed annual interest rate on the account balance is 0.25 per cent irrespective of the actual amount on the account, while the LAIPTAI interest depends on the actual account balance*:

The interest is calculated daily and entered into the account on the settlement day of the next month, provided the interest amount exceeds LTL 4.99 (for residents of Lithuania) or LTL 9.99 (for non-residents).
LAIPTAI is Convenience
You have a round-the-clock access to your savings. There is no need to conclude any additional agreements with the bank or notify it on any performed transactions.
Deposits of individuals are insured at the State Deposit Insurance Fund.
How to join LAIPTAI?
Fill in the application for LAIPTAI (Form No 6) and send it to the bank by fax and deliver via our representative office. In the application one should specify the type and number of your card, number and currency of the card account.
LAIPTAI Membership
The membership in LAIPTAI expires as soon as the card expires. However, the cardholders may terminate their membership prior to the expiry of the card.
* During the validity of the card the Bank keeps the right to change interest rates and is obligated to display an announcement about the changes on the Internet site www.snoras.lt, in the branches and mini-banks 30 days in advance. New rates are applicable starting the date indicated in the announcement. In case of disagreement with changed interest rates, a cardholder is obliged to inform the bank in written form 30 days after the announcement. Such claim shall be explained as a cardholder’s will to discontinue participation in the program “Steps”.
If a cardholder addresses no claim to the bank, the bank offer is considered to be accepted. The Bank has a right to apply new interest rates.
